Two small purple bruises on lower lip

I've had two small bruises on my lower lip for the past 5-6 weeks. A friend noticed one initially and since then another one has appeared.
Definitely not down to me biting it etc.
Any thoughts?

I have one too, I suffer with melasma/pigmentation a bit so have presumed it is that, obviously it looks darker on the lip.

Thanks Silver, I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned about. I've read that it can be related to hormonal imbalances and was curious if anyone had similar.
