Anyone had xiphoid removal-thoracic surgery?

I am getting desperate, in lots of pain most of the time. Please does anyone know of a hospital that knows about this? I am willing to go private if necessary. Earlier threads mention this operation, but I have no information on where to go and my GP practice is unhelpful to say the least.

Op what is the reason you seek the surgery? Did you have a trauma to the are previously?

Yes, 5 years ago while lifting and carrying something heavy. It has never gone away but got worse with every passing year. Any help would be appreciated.
