Following on from a penny dropping sleep thread... anyone know about concussion!?

DS climbed up pushchair yesterday, it tipped backwards and he whacked his head on the concrete

A bit of a bump there, but not a lot, he was more concerned about his bitten tongue, and got over that fairly quickly.

Last night - kept waking sobbing his heart out, not a lot settling him.

Today - not done his normal naps, been quiet all day (no snail eatin or nuffink ), doing the same sobbing waking thing tonight.

He's starting to calm again since calpol, but after a quick google, am realising that this does fit concussion in toddlers!

I'll take him to the doc tomorrow, but is there anything that I can do to make him feel better/settle other than calpol/nurofen?

I'd give nhs a call to see what they say, might be he needs an xray or ct scan to make sure there's no other damage.

We both ended up falling asleep after this, and thankfully he stayed asleep.

Will call the GP now.
