Pain in hands and wrists

Hi everyone, looking for some advice. Yesterday, I suddenly started getting quite sore pain in my left wrist, left fingers and going up my left arm. The other arm is fine.

When I touch my arm it feels sore, but sort of 'underneath', definitely not the skin that's sore! It feels almost a bit like sunburn but underneath the skin. My other arm feels perfectly normal so I know I'm not imagining it.

The pain is sort of throbbing and seems to happen randomly. It even woke me up a few times this morning, I was hoping it would disappear overnight.

If it helps, I'm a 19 year old female (not pregnant). If it continues I will make a doctors appointment, but it is really quite unbearable at times!

Any thoughts as to what it could be? Thank you!

I forgot to add, there is also no swelling, redness/rash or anything like that. When I move my wrist it does feel quite tender and sore. I haven't had any injury or anything like that.

It could be possible that you have a trapped nerve in your neck.
