My bin bag trick just isn't working and wondered if it is worth investing in a "proper" solution?

My mother had an operation on her foot and had one of these and she loved it. She was a bit miffed that doctor/nurse didn't tell her that she could get one and a friend of mine put her on to it.

My aunt had one of these for a broken arm and swam in the sea every day with it!

Try this site www.protectacast.com they supply them for kids so I assume adults too.

My DDs have had these for broken arms. You do still have to be a bit careful not to get the plaster wet but definitely worth it.

Thanks everyone.

If you can't find them on the internet then the plaster room at the hospital should know. They had leaflets about them at our hospital.
