Hello I wonder if anyone can give me advice? I had a hysteroscopy on Tuesday, with a biopsy and polyp removal , no anaesthetic . I feel poorly , I’m sore and generally washed out . I didn’t get any aftercare info at all , the nhs sites say women return to work the next day . Did anyone else feel poorly for a few days? Any advice appreciated thanks

Hello I wonder if anyone can help please? I had a hysteroscopy on Tuesday , with biopsy and polyp removal, as an outpatient no anaesthetic . I wasn’t given any aftercare info , and the nhs sites suggest women return to work the next day. I am sore and washed out , feeling rubbish . Is this usual ? I was amazed to be expected to be ok so soon? Thanks

I had similar a couple of weeks ago. I did feel fine, drove myself home and went back to work the next day. I had a leaflet telling me to call my GP if I had a temp or any other signs of infection.
I would suggest you call your gp. Hope you feel better soon xx

I didn’t have any aftercare after mine. Had a GA so took 1 day off work but felt absolutely fine, was up and about, just couldn’t drive.

I agree with Maths, call your GP - it sounds like there might be something wrong.

Thank you so much . I haven’t got a temperature nor blood loss thankfully . I just feel absolutely washed out . I was really terrified and I’m wondering if it’s just like a nervous reaction. The things we women have to go through !
