I've just had a phone call about some tests that I'm having done, and I have to make an appointment to see my doctor. Usually I'm not bothered about tests as I've been having lots since an operation last year and they always come back "normal". My doctors surgery never call out about results, you have to call them so the fact that they've contacted me is making me worry about what's on my results. The sample was held for longer than usual and now I know they've found something I'm starting to feel anxious. The test is for inflammatory bowel disease or Crohn's disease and related illnesses. Honestly I'm thinking the worst and I've got something seriously wrong with me, any advice on how to deal with this would be appreciated, thanks
