What is this ?!

So today I noticed something really odd. Anyone had any experience of this. It's on the upper side of my belly button but I have no idea what it is and it doesn't look great :(

I do have a piercing there however it's more towards the bottom of it, the piercings been the years with no issues.

Looks like a skin tag. Is it stretchy and does it hurt?

It’s overgranualation, where the piercing is trying too hard to repair itself and making extra tissue. You could have knocked it or something without realising. It probably needs to come out.

Thank you both! I'm pretty sure it's an over Granulation after doing some research. How annoying
