Change to periods at 35

My youngest is 18 months old but my periods initially came back as they were before but over the last 8 months my periods have become increasingly heavy, to the point I leak through my clothes multiple times during the first 3 days Sad.
They have always been heavy with lots of clots but this is something else. I have moments where I have to run the toilet with my legs clamped shut as I can feel myself flooding.
On top of this I bloat and cramp so much for the first day I can’t fit into my normal clothes Blush and have to size up.
I started my periods at 11 and am now 35 so wondering if I could be entering the perimenopause. My cycles are regular and my mum had a hysterectomy so have no idea if early menopause is in the genes.

I'm the same. I'm 37 and I've got three children and they've got worse after every child. I take Agnus Castus which has stopped the cramps, but they're still very heavy and difficult to manage. I've mentioned it to my (not very interested) GP who suggested that it may be my age. Their answer to anything female is 'have a coil' which I'm not going to do!
