Weird bruising with no obvious cause

I've recently noticed lots of random bruising on my arms and legs when I can't remember banging them or any reason for the injury. Some are quite small but some are large (about 3 inches across) and irregularly shaped.

Just noticed one on my forearm last night, really large and purple and I can't think of anything that happened that could have caused it.

Anyone got any idea what could be causing this?

Anaemia, B12 deficiency, you need to see GP for blood tests.

Yes, you definitely need a blood test. Please see your G. It could be something simple that requires vitamin supplements or something more serious.
