For the first time in my life I have a callous on the bottom front part of left foot and the bloody thing really hurts.
I will see a podiatrist/chiropodist if need be but not overly keen on them (pain?!).
However, a good friend I saw the other day said I didn't need to bother seeing a podiatrist as she used to get callouses and filed them for a week or so with a foot file and used some sort of acid thing you can buy in chemists.
What's the best to do? I did file them at the weekend and use a lemon soak (rubbed the lemon on callous etc).
