I have noticed a small very pale brown patch of skin on my forehead near my hairline. Must say I'm getting my knickers is a knot thinking it could be skin cancer.... anyone else had anything similar? Hmm

It sounds like Melasma www.google.com/search?ei=IyctXdTXLo6GyAOVubLgBw&q=melasma&oq=melasma&gs_l=psy-ab.3..35i39j0i67l3j0i20i263j0i67j0l4.1423.2722..3316...0.0..0.205.376.0j1j1......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i71.ntW-wArxvQo

This is a normal if irritating condition where patches of skin can change to a pale brown or greyish colour. It's usually found in women, and on foreheads and cheeks.

Thank you, I've had a look at the link. It's been there a few months and isn't sore or itchy.. it's just there! At first I thought it was a hair dye stain. I don't have it anywhere else on my face. Hmm

That still sounds like Melasma. If you're worried, see the doctor. No use wondering and Googling!

I'm off work next week and plan to visit my Gp so hoping it's nothing to worry about Smile

This happened to me when I was on antibiotics, think it was because I was out in the sun. Have you been on them?

kentgal · 16/07/2019 16:08

I've not been on antibiotics but I am recovering from vit d deficiency and have been high levels of supplements
