Period Fear

My period is freaking me out this month. I am 20 years old, 5’8, 140 lbs, and presumably healthy (considering I am a college student away from home who hasn’t had a check up in about 3 years, I guess I can’t be sure)
I have always had a normal, relatively healthy period. It had shifted throughout the years but in the past year I have always started around the 27th-3rd of the Month. I have never been on birth control. I have been sexually active, with protection.
This month I have felt particularly hormonally off. My “period” didn’t come until the 7th. I was feeling quite ill and disoriented (almost hallucinating) and overly sleepy, much more off than I normally am) I took pregnancy tests which turned out negative on the 5th & 6th. I bled very slightly, and it was brown, and then it stopped until starting back up again the 9th. The blood is very inconsistent in color (varying from brown to bright red) light, and very very watery. When I say watery I mean I am leaking a water like smelly substance out of my tampons, which aren’t yet full. I regularly in the past have had quite a bit of clotting, and heavy, regular bleeding. This is the first time this has happened. Should I be worried? Should I make an appointment with a Gyno or maybe make the 2.5 hour trip back home to see my doctor who is a pediatrician?
Thanks so much. Send me positive thoughts and prayers as I’m feeling pretty off.

I have no idea but I'd encourage you to see a doctor as it sounds like you should get checked out. Hope all is ok x

I'm sure there are medical facilities you can access where you are. Please do so. Best wishes.

You need to see a doctor, a sudden change is not right. Gyno if that is your nearest option.

I would see a doctor about that - a gyno or regular doctor would be fine.
