Cough is driving me nutsssssss.

It's a hacking dry, tickly cough which catches me at the back of the throat and won't just do one. Pharmacist says syrups are useless which I agree with but I'm going on holiday on Wednesday and would love for it to stop. Any pearls of wisdom?

How long have you had it OP?

I know how you feel OP I’m just coming out of one that took nearly 2 weeks. My local pharmacist gave me some syrup that worked really well and for me I had even lost my voice but all is back to normal again and I can sleep without coughing.

I had a dreadful cough earlier in the year...I'm prone to them and they can really drag on and on. I find chewing gum helps and Jakemans throat sweets are a godsend. Hope it goes soon.. I appreciate how miserable it can be
