Globus Sensation when coughing/sneezing?

Hi all!

A few months ago I had a feeling of a lump in my throat, had it looked at by the doctor who said it sounded like Globus Sensation ( I was particularly stressed at the time)

It calmed down after a week or so, but ever since if I sneeze or cough it very briefly reappears? It lasts for a couple of seconds then I feel it vanish.

Currently it's annoying as I have hay fever so am sneezing a lot!!

I have no pain, can swallow normally and no other obvious symptoms.

Does this still sound like Globus Sensation?

Sounds very much like sliding hiatus hernia, when you cough or sneeze the hernia will be forced up through your diaphragm giving you the lump in the throat sensation, and when you diaphragm relaxes the hernia slides back down. The only way to know for sure is endoscopy.
Hiatus hernias are really quite common and most people who have them don't realise they are there.
