ds teeth grinding at night ,do I need to worry about it?

only noticed it when we had to share a bed a fw weeks ago.
he's 4.5ish.
will it damage his teeth?
does it mean he's highly anxious or something,seem to remember something about this,he certainly doesn't seem anything other than normal to me.

lots of children do grind their teeth at night.
next time you take him to the dentist mention it
They do sometimes give a mouth guard but seems severe action in one so young.

Mouth guards are generally given only to adults or children who have virtually all their adult teeth. Never as young as 4.5
