SOMEONE TELL ME THIS ISNT CANCER

So my head can stop whirring and I can go to sleep. I hadn’t noticed until now but it’s like a painless scab on my nipple. Maybe done through catching it in something that I don’t remember or even sex??? Put my mind at rest please

Sorry that it isn’t the best quality picture

Oh relax that’s clearly just a normal scab. Unless it refuses to clear up then it’s just a dodgy scrape

Bostyrone · 03/07/2019 00:28

Why would you even think it was cancer?

Put some savlon on it.

Progged22 · 03/07/2019 00:29

You need to go to the doctor and show it to them .

It would be wrong for anyone to say either way from a photo with no training ,only a doctor who can do a suitable consultation with the right information can advise you .

You are obviously worried , why don’t you try seeing the gp in the morning ?

Hopefully it won’t be anything serious .

I’m had health anxiety since a stay in hospital last year so now every ache or cough and I’m convinced I’m dying Blush

Do you really think it’s worth a gp visit? I get scared they’re sick of the sight of me..

Oh give over Progged22. With the greatest respect, that’s nonsense.

OP, germolene will also do.

Go to the doc and ask for a referral for CBT. It can be really helpful for anxiety and overthinking.

fairynick · 03/07/2019 00:35

Thank you for the quick responses btw!
Yes I think I’ll stick one of the scooby doo plasters from the cupboard on it and call myself a brave girl Grin
I’m on the waiting list for cbt at the minute, thanks for suggesting it I hope it works!

A good plaster can be very helpful!

I just posted on another thread about overcoming fear. I used hypnotherapy. It truly works.

Progged22 · 03/07/2019 00:38

I think that mumsnet is no place for a medical consultation . I’m sure mumsnet would agree. Don’t worry about the gp being sick if the sight of you, you don’t know this is the case , it may be just a feeling you have . I’m sure you will feel much more reassured if you have things checked by an appropriately qualified professional rather than the general public guessing on an Internet forum .

Going to the GP may also help you discuss your wider anxiety issue that you seem to suggest you have and see if they can help with this also .

Monty27 · 03/07/2019 00:40

I can't make out the picture Confused

Bostyrone · 03/07/2019 00:42

It’s not a medical consultation you ninny!

Since when has a bit o’ a rash, in the height of sweaty summer, by a poster with acknowledged health anxiety, on the tit, been cancer?

Seriously?
