Hello, clutching at straws here.
DH has the back of a seventy year old man, according to the surgeon at the spinal clinic he saw today. He is 45. We were hoping that after failing to help with steroid injections there might be some help to be derived from surgery, but it appears that this will be of little benefit and considerable risk.
He will try again with the painkillers now, he found the side effects too much before but things have got worse pain wise so I think he will give it a go. DH is fit and healthy apart from this, the loss of mobility due to sciatica over the last two years is very hard to bear
Other than that, just hoping that he might derive some relief from an inversion chair? Even if it would help him get to sleep.
Thanks.
