raised ck levels

anyone know why ck levels are raised...been having lots of leg pain ..thanks

Elevated serum creatine kinase (CK) is a marker of muscle damage. What's causing the muscle damage could be lots of different things. Did the doctor tell you why the test was being done? Have you had any recent injuries? Are you taking any medication?

thanks for the reply, had loads more blood tests this week and been referred to a rheumatologist now
