If you have had chicken pox before, and then meet somebody with chicken pox, can you pass chicken pox onto somebody else...

No, you can't carry it. You can only pass CP on if you have it, although that does include the contagious stage before spots arise. It is very unusual, although not impossible,, to get CP more than once.

It is airborne and only actively contagious person passes it on.

if you have had chickenpox as a child you then carry the virus in your body - this means you can develop shingles in later life as the virud can be reactivated.
if you just meet someone with chickenpox, YOU woudn't be passing anything on to anyone.Although as Hullababy says there have been cases of people getting CP twice.
Needs direct contact.
You can catch chickenpox from someone with shingles, although not that common

u cant get chicken pox more than once.....but the shingles virus is related to the chicken pox one so u can get that

I know of quite a few children who do appear to have had chickenpox more than once, been seen by GP and confirmed both times.... usd to be argued that you could only get it once, not so sure now
