Ruptured bakers cyst

Hey,

Google isn't helping at all.

In Feb I had a ruptured bakers cyst which was severe pain. I started to notice pain 3-4 days before swelling accrued and when it did within 3 days my whole leg had swollen up. I understand it takes 6 months to fully recover.

Over the last few days I have had knee pain and this morning my knee as swollen and is getting worse throughout the day.

Does anyone know if you can get a ruptured bakers cyst in the same place within the space of 4 months? I don't really want to go to the Drs or A&E due to them only giving you paracetamol for it anyway so would rather just deal with it at home.

Thank you.
