Had a GA 3 weeks ago...bloated ever since??

It is driving me mad. I'm not sure if it's the GA, the antibiotics they gave me while I was under or the painkillers after (stopped taking that 2 days after op).

Has anyone else experienced it and is there anything I can do about it? Some days I look 5 months pg and I'm definitely not

I don't think the GA itself would make you bloated. What sort of surgery was it? Was it abdominal? What painkillers were you on? Did they make you constipated?

I had a breast aug - they just gave me painkillers with codeine I think. I have suffered with IBS in the past but not had an attack of it for 9 months.

Could be the codeine. Normally makes people constipated so if you've had IBS in the past it could be irritating your bowel. If you've stopped taking it now, things'll probably get better soon. If you're having trouble pooing, it might be worth getting some lactulose to get you going again.
