Long time lurker, first time poster - bit of a rant, so apologies, but I'd really appreciate advice.

DH and I are mid fertility treatment. Irrelevant but becomes focus of hospital.

Saw doctor on Monday with severe abdominal pain, just below tummy button but very high, too high to by gynae imho.

Doctor referred to a&e... a&e referred to early pregnancy unit... where I've been since... (clearly not pregnant as undergoing treatment atm with embryo transfer planned for next week...)

Thus far they've scanned, poked, prodded and examined my downstairs regions and confirmed everything is fine gynae wise (where there is no pain) and came to discharge me because all my lady equipment is fine... well that's great but I've still got pain in my upper bowel... they're trying to send me back to the gp... wwyd?

Feel as though as soon as they clock a female of childbearing age they slam you in the EPU and as long as you're reproductive system looks fine spit you out of the other end... Envy

Thank them for what they've done and tell them firmly you are no better. Ask them to refer you elsewhere.
