First time posting so sorry if I'm getting it wrong. DD and I both had our ears pierced last weekend. She's 12 and so far so good. Mine are repierced having not worn earrings for about 20 years. Now mine are all swollen and sore. Am cleaning regularly with salty water. It was a proper piercing place and the studs are titanium. Help! How can I stop the reaction, I love earrings and want it to work!

You could always try a specialist piercing spray? There's a great one on Amazon called Prontolind that worked for me, think there are a few other brands too. Hope you get it sorted. Smile

Stop twisting them. Don’t touch at all and if it gets worse see a dr and don’t remove them.
My re-pierced second earring holes were really sore for a few weeks but settled by 5/6 weeks and have been fine.

Thanks. Have just bought some prontolind and the piercer said one drop of tea tree oil once a day. Will persevere...
