I had an episiotomy so that my son could be born via ventouse delivery on Thursday. When being stitched up I could feel one stitch was particularly sore and felt tight. Since then it has not stopped bleeding. It’s so painful I can’t sit down. I have to take painkillers around the clock and it’s sticking to everything. I have tried everything recommended and the midwives have said just to give it time. Has anyone else had this issue? Are they right? Will it suddenly just stop bleeding?
