CFS and hormones - the dreaded period

Have CFS, have had for 6 years. Manage fine these days except around periods where I can often have 2 weeks where the whole system goes down. Hormone fluctuation trigger migraines and utter exhaustion (talking difficulty to get dressed or climb stairs to loo, never mind walk to work). So frustrating as 50% of time am fine (within my limits of p time work and rationed social/energy use time).

Docs told me a couple of years ago the pill is a no go as stroke risk from migraines.

Anyone had any joy with overcoming this scenario? Have a child with SEN and could really do with being more stable to fight for his EHCP and not dread every cycle.

Am in 40s and don't plan more children at this point.
