Cystoscopy / bladder

Looking for anyone who's had cystoscopy procedure. I had one a couple of days ago for blood in urine. Haven't had any other problems with UTI's or anything but I'm pretty sure I've got one now.
Doesn't hurt whilst wee-ing but hurts when I've stopped if that makes sense.

Also whilst having the cystoscopy there was a 'buldge' into my bladder, it was clear to see a protrusion from outside the bladder. The consultant said it wasn't 'normal' but was possibly my bowel pushing into my bladder or something. He's ordered an MRI anyway but has anyone else experienced this and all was ok? Is it normal for things to push into your bladder, I expected to see a 'balloon' shaped bladder filled with liquid but it seemed more 'bumpy' in there.

TIA

When I had cystoscopy they gave me antibiotics as I get regular UTIs - would go to doctors to get tested for uti if you have symptoms and get antibiotics. Can also get them online if you are certain.

A bulge isn't normal and didn't have that though good you are getting an MRI to see exactly what is going on. Don't really know what that will be - maybe some kind of prolapse but totally guessing and your are better to wait for doctors to say.

Thanks @PenguinsRabbits I'm really concerned about what the buldge might have been now, I wish I had insisted on more information whilst there but I was so desperate for the toilet as they had over filled my bladder with the water.

I'll be booking an appointment in the morning for the UTI.

Sorry I'm not sure why my phone keeps autocorrecting the word 'bulge' Grin

Maybe ask the doctor tomorrow if s/he has any idea when you see them. I really don't know either, bulges have heard of have been prolapse but not the bowel so no idea. Hope its not too long before your MRI. I am waiting for one and you do start to worry.
