7 month old refuses milk

My baby is 7 months old and does t enjoy eating or drinking milk. He barely drinks 4 oz at a time. Has a tiny amount of solids twice a day. After his 5pm feed he refuses milk. He goes to sleep at 8pm. So from 5pm till the next morning he has nothing. Is this normal?! It's driving me insane! Pleasseeeeeee help!!!!

Is he having any formula, breast milk or other fluids?

One of mine started refusing milk around that age but it turned out she'd happily drink it cold. My youngest would only ever take his hot. Hotter than it should have been anyway. Could it be the temperature?

Thanks for replying, he drinks max 4 oz of formula milk 4 times a day. Again his last feed is at 5 and stops after that. I have been getting so emotional over this... feel like such a rubbish mum.

@CrackersDontMatter thank you for the reply, I tried to change the temp of milk but he flat out refuses and starts crying. I have tried to feed him in his sleep but still no luck

Could it be the teats? Is the flow fast enough? Could he be getting frustrated that it is too much effort to get the milk out? If he's having solids, will he eat things with milk in?

Did it just start recently or has he always been reluctant to drink? If its recent, get him checked for an ear infection, it makes it uncomfortable to drink. If its not new, then try introducing sloppy foods with lots of liquid and other drinks.
One of mine wouldn't drink water, so I mixed in some apple juice with the water for a few days to get him started and then diluted it down to nothing over the next few weeks
