Agonising throat started 2 days ago. I'm talking, impossible to swallow ( have to psyche myself up to do it). Feeling really tired and mild fever / chills yesterday but not totally bed bound or anything.
Came up in a rash today, all over my chest, wrists and torso. Particularly bad around the groin area. Looks and feels a bit like heat rash or sunburn.
Kids had similar over a month ago and both tested for scarlet fever but both came back negative ( although daughter tested positive for strep).
Recently moved and haven't yet registered with a gp.
