Weed myself whilst puke-ing

Blush was just sick (ate far too fast) and I weed myself...and I mean, completely weed myself. Trousers & socks soaked.

Is this normal post children? I don't have major incontinence issues otherwise...

Sad

It is for me Sad

I haven't been sick post-children but during my severe morning sickness with my second I wet myself more than once whilst vomiting/retching excessively.

Oh the joy!

Wittsendargh · 05/06/2019 22:28

It is for me. I'm sick a lot. Certain foods, wine, cider, eggs, you name it can all set my stomach off. I don't vomit the food, just the acid it causes. If it catches me out, and I'm stood up, I sometimes wee 🙈. I have learnt that sat nursing the toilet bowl causes less embarrassment! I've two kids btw.

This is God's way of telling you to do your pelvic floor exercises.

Helpimfalling · 05/06/2019 22:31

Sooo normal when I had morning sickness I'd puke so hard that I would pee and sometimes crap myself at same time....what a talent!!

Heismyopendoor · 05/06/2019 22:33

Happened to me once when I was pregnant. I’ll never forget it.

I’ve been fine all the times I’ve been sick since.

Now I vomit sitting on the toilet and I’m sick in the sink.

OldAndWornOut · 05/06/2019 22:33

Multi tasking! ^^

This is stress incontinence.

Wittsendargh · 05/06/2019 22:48

@Heismyopendoor that's my trick too in the upstairs bathroom. My OH thinks it's revolting, but needs must sometimes! 😂

Hollywhiskey · 05/06/2019 22:50

It's common in pregnancy because of the relaxin. It's not normal though and you shouldn't have to put up with it. Get to a women's health physio.

Celticrose · 05/06/2019 22:57

This has happened to me twice. Once when very sick due to being put on an anti depressant (only half of a tablet!!) amd once when I had a gastric flu. So glad it happened at home so I was able to have a shower. Thank goodness it has never happened again. I had a d & v bug early this year but was ok in that dept thank goodness as I had enough malfunctioning orifices to contend with.

Sofasurfingsally · 05/06/2019 23:23

It's happened to me if I have serious/persistent vomiting.

Breezy1985 · 05/06/2019 23:23

It sometimes has happened to me since having kids, normal or not you're not alone.

GlitterPixie · 05/06/2019 23:29

This happened to me one before

pinkoneblueone · 05/06/2019 23:33

Sadly it happens to me too :( I hate being sick. I keep working on my pelvic floor then forget about it for a while and start them again
