TMI alert!!
I had the implant fitted in February. From then on I had no period at all. All fine. I know that can be normal. In March i had a smear test. They could not get enough of a sample so it had to be repeated three weeks ago.
Since this second smear I have bled non stop bar two days. The blood is black thick and clotty. It's like black treacle. It doesn't let up. I'm having horrendous contracting pain. It does not smell and I have no other toilet issues. I feel generally unwell.
I went to the GP on Monday and swabs taken. GP was 99% sure i had a cervical infection.
Results back today. No infection. But the symptoms are not letting up. I have telephone appointment tomorrow but i am at my wits end!
Any ideas?
