Can you buy anti biotics over the counter in france without a prescription?

No - but you can take a UK px and ask or you can see a GP here very quickly and easily for around 30? which is refundable in UK with health card and they will give you a px.

Some pharmacies will give abs without a prescription but they are v few and far between. You could try. I think you would be better GP. A pharmacy will give you a list of local gps.

Thanks I usually have to take an emergency supply of pennicillin when I go on holiday but thought I may not need to for france

I have got antibiotics prescribed by a GP in France , you pay him direct.
