How can I dodge norovirus?

My toddler just projectile vomited everywhere and it seems like a generic sickness bug, it would be alright if I wasn’t going on holiday... tomorrow Sad

I’m gutted because I catch it every single time. I’ve dettol’ed everything I possibly can, put any clothes/sheets on high heat and I’m chugging water and avoiding my child (as much a possible but he needs comforting).

Is there anything else can do to avoid it? Or lessen the impact if I’ve already caught it?

Wear rubber gloves especially when touching door handles. Sadly it is very good at spreading itself around.

Is be washing my hands every 5minutes! Poor you. In my experience it is difficult not to catch it but all you can do is spray anti bac, clean, hot wash clothes and wash hands. Good luck!!!

Disinfect everything you touch... door handles (don't forget both sides and to include external doors), surfaces, the kitchen, bathroom, etc.

Wash your face and hands after comforting your toddler with antibacterial soap.

Antibac won’t kill a virus. You need bleach on surfaces and handles and soap and water for hands.

Antibacterial sprays will not work, you need to make up a bleach solution and wipe all hard surfaces with it, cover soft furnishings with towels that can go on a boil wash.
If you are comforting an actively vomiting child cover your nose and mouth with a cloth, it’s only airborne whilst the vomit particles are literally flying through the air, they then settle on surfaces waiting to be touched and spread.
I sincerely hope you don’t catch it and your DC is better soon.

Antibac's only kill bacteria, they don't kill viruses. Bleach kills everything.
