Is it normal to be really thirsty through pregnancy and no mater how much water you drink it still doesn't help?

I would contact midwife. Could it be something like diabetes.

I have no idea about pregnancy, but excessive thirst is a sign of diabetes so it might be worth getting your blood sugar checked.

It is a symptom of diabetes, so do contact your midwife.
