Any help with my sinus pain?

Suffered from sinusitis for over 5 years now.
Saw gp,was referred to ENT consultant, camera down nose. Prescribed steroid nasal spray which I use quite regularly plus taking ibuprofen.
Over the past couple of months my sinus pain has become more frequent.
It's getting me down & I seem to be constantly taking ibuprofen to ease it (& my steroid spray).
I have the sinus wash but have never tried it.
Should I go back to gp ? Not sure what more they can do though.

Why don't you try the sinus wash

I've had the same issue for the last 3 months. Starting off with Sinutab from OTC. Didn't work, then went to the doctors who prescribed me Amoxicillin for 5 days, alongside the nasal spray and Fexafenadine (antihistamine), these provided a little relief. Went back to the doctors who then prescribed Doxycycline (which targets bacterial infections) and it has worked! I took an 8 day course which I finished yesterday, so hopefully it doesn't come back. So perhaps suggest to your GP that it could be a bacterial infection.

PS the sinus wash saline only really provides temporary relief, I use mine in the shower.
