DD is complaining that her "bottom hurts inside".... any ideas?

She's had on and off diarrohea since yesterday and keeps complaining that her bottom hurts inside. She's 3.5.
Any clues?

Of course her bottom hurts if she's had diarrhoea. She will have been passing acidic stuff which burns on the way out. Sounds like gastric bug to me. Warm bath, keep the area clean and wait for the bug to go away. Could take a week.

she may also have griping pains. They can sometimes feel quite low down. It may feel to her as though it is in her bottom.

What are griping pains? I've never come across them before?

is there any blood in her diarrohea?
diarrohea can hurt, i agree it could be that in itself which is sore.
