What is this on my eye?

Had this red lump on my eyeball for years now but it seems to be getting bigger. No pain or discharge.

It's most likely to be a pingeculae which is caused by degeneration of the conjunctiva (which is the transparent layer over the white bit of the eye.) It's usually harmless although occasionally they can become inflamed and cause a bit of irritation.

It's very important that you wear sunglasses outside as there is some correlation with their development and UV exposure.

I would just go for a regular eye examination with an Optometrist and they will be able to tell you what it is. I could never be even 90% sure without examining the eye more closely.
