Congrats to me too then, ive been sneezing...poor ds3!

NomDePlume · 13/09/2004 19:56

DD is laid up with it too. High temp, runny nose and horrendously grizzly. In fact both DD and DH went to bed at 5.30pm last night and slept right through.

oiseau · 13/09/2004 19:58

LOL at DH sleeping through - well done him! glad you didn't have to settle him at all!

Frenchgirl · 13/09/2004 19:58

dd got her first cold of the season yesterday, still went to school as wasn't bothered by it, and then I had to go and pick her up after lunch as she had a high temp, sore tummy and was in tears.... she's now fast asleep.... poor little chou.

Angeliz · 13/09/2004 20:02

My dd too!
It was her fourth day at nursery and i had to keep her off.She was over the moon
she has no skin left on her nose and lips!!

NomDePlume · 13/09/2004 20:02
Grin
NomDePlume · 13/09/2004 20:05

Sorry, my grin was t oiseau, not at your poor little 'un, Angeliz

Bozza · 13/09/2004 20:06

And my DD. She's only 4 months and was really struggling feeding yesterday because so snuffly. Today she's been feeding better because her nose has been really running and its all red - poor little thing.

So much for keeping DS off nursery for a week after his operation to avoid infection...

Polgara2 · 13/09/2004 20:43

Yep doesn't take long once school starts does it? My dd1 coughing for England at the mo - poor little soul .

MummyToSteven · 13/09/2004 20:44

Me too and i don't even have kids at school

Tessiebear · 13/09/2004 21:09

DS2 has a cold and i have just this minute kissed him night - night on the lips! Well you have to when they are not 100% dont you!

suedonim · 13/09/2004 21:17

Coo, you lot are lucky to have avoided colds for so long!! Dd1 started her first cold on the first day of term in mid-August and is now on her third one. Dd2's teacher told her this morning that it's about time dd1 had a day off as she's the only person including the teacher who hasn't been ill so far this term!

nutcracker · 13/09/2004 21:21

Mine have theirs on the way I think, as there has been lots of sneezing today.

As long as it's not like the winter of 2001 when they had everything going then i don't mind.

coppertop · 13/09/2004 21:21

The only one in this house who is cold-free atm is ds1. Okay so I've probably gone and jinxed it now...........

bea · 26/09/2004 19:36

can i join in??? feeling very sorry for myself as ds1 (8 months) has just gotten over a snotty nose and phlegmy coughs, and now has spent all day with a temp and grizzley and quite listless... i hate it when they are ill and i suspect that i'll have to take the day off work tommorrow if he's the same... he hates calpol!! (how could he??? dd1 positively sucked it out of the syringe! and cried when we took it away!) so got some baby nuroen i the hope he accepts this one with more pleasure!!!

fingers crossed for a peaceful night and you never know... he might be over it by the morning! - wishful thinking!!!

lilsmum · 26/09/2004 19:47

i may as well join in too dd got a bad cold bout 2 wks ago......then dp got it...... i thought i had escaped it for once but no!!! i then got it.. dd by this time was getting better then she caught it back off me again!!! confused??!! me too lol
