I’m taking 50mg of Sertraline daily. I’m due an endoscopy via the nose tomorrow to explore reasons for reflux. I believe i will be offered local anaesthetic up the nose but no sedation. I’m a bit worried that there could be an interaction with local anaesthetic and sertraline. I will of course mention it but was unsure if I should take sertraline tomorrow morning as usual or not.

There are no listed interactions between sertraline and lidocaine (or any other local anaesthetic that I could find).
