Insomnia

Anyone able to give any tips or advise on insomnia, I am literally waking up twice in the night for no reason and just struggling to get back to sleep, always around 1ish for an hour and again at about 3, it's not the baby moving or anything that's waking me, I'm just waking!

Any tips or advise please?

Every case is individual. I find it helps to rest even if I can't sleep.

Are you pregnant? Pregnancy insomnia is a thing.
What helps me: no coffee or no coffee/tea after 2pm
Before bed no biscuits or sweet things or alcohol, but banana, milk or porridge were recommended to me by health professional.
Herbal teas, that one with the sleepy bear
Headspace, the Sleep section is my saviour, I use that every night and whenever I wake up in the night

@BD16 I highly recommend a satin /slippery pair of pjs or gown
It helped me so much as you turn on bed a lot easily and sometimes remain asleep
Honestly, physio recommended and she was right

i had terrible hormonal insomnia throughout pregnancies. Hideous.
Sometimes a piriton helps

I don't tend to sleep with pjs on because I get to hot and bothered even with the fan on 😂

It won't be so bad once I'm on mat leave cause I can at least then try and nap etc but struggling already with work and being so tired from broken sleep :( thank you all for your advise x
