Breast milk still hasn't dried up

I haven't been able to breastfeed (long story) or express by DS. I was told my milk would dry up in a week since I've never actually breastfed.

It's been 3 weeks and every time I think it's over I leak badly again.
Is it normal to take this long to dry up even though I've never breastfed?

When I was in hospital with number 1 they discharged a group of us together. The lady who was bottle feeding was told her milk would still come in as normal and as she didn't want to breastfeed she should wear a tight sports bra for a few days, avoid hand expressing and take paracetamol if it was uncomfortable.
Are you still under the midwife?

@Hollywhiskey

I was told the same things. I've been stuck in my sports bras and pads this whole time and nothings changed. My milk is still coming through. I'm not in any pain anymore and sometimes my little one leans on me the wrong way and I leak more - but other than that I'm not encouraging it. Yet still getting flowing milk. Was hoping I'd have dried up by now.

I believe so, they're not very reliable though. Neither is my health visitor. I guess they're very busy. They don't answer calls/texts and rarely show up or contact me. I did message them but got no reply so that's why I came here to see if anyone had any ideas.
