I have osteoarthritis in my hip joint which causes referred pain in my knee. It’s been at a manageable level for the last few months.
Because of other medication I’m on I’ve given up alcohol since Jan but yesterday I had a glass of wine for the first time. Last night my leg was agony - the pain kept me awake, which it never does usually. I hadn’t done anything different otherwise. Does anyone have experience of alcohol making arthritic pain worse? Or is it just a coincidence?
