Itchy sore lump on toe

An itchy sore lump has appeared on my big toe in the last couple of days. It's gotten bigger and now rubs on the inside of my shoe making it u comfortable to walk. It's on the top, just below the nail. Looks a bit like a blister but is hard.

Sounds like a chilblain

Thanks youaremyrain, just googled it and sounds exactly like that. I'm surprised I've never had one before, as I do tend to suffer with cold feet.
