Blistering rash?

I posted for advice a few weeks ago but I now cant find the thread

A few weeks ago my DD aged 4 started to come out in these bumps that had small blistering heads. We at first thought it was just a few insect bites but they continued to spread until they covered her arms/legs and a few on her torso. We ended up seeing 6 different doctors and we were just given Piriton and an antihistamine cream - neither of which did a bit of difference. The spots eventually disappeared but she is left with some marks where the spots first were. We still dont know what caused the rash/blisters.

She has now came out in the same spots/ blisters again - 100% cannot be bites as haven't been in garden due to weather and cat has just had annual check up so no chance of fleas/ticks (we did check cat with previous episode as well but ruled him out).

What else can be causing these? I have attached a few photos

Looks like hives to me (urticaria) which is an allergy rash. Have you tried antihistamine daily even if the rash isn't present?

Hi, no we haven't tried giving her it every day. I am completely stumped what could be causing it though. Do hives normally blister so badly - I have uploaded how big the blister is this morning

Several years ago my DD had similar looking blisters. We had bought a T-shirt from a service station and put it straight on her - over the top of a vest (change of top required due to travel sickness). Everywhere the new T-shirt had been in contact with her skin was covered in small blisters (like the ones in your photos).
Doctor said she had reacted to the chemical finish on the T-shirt. She took Piriton for a few days but the blisters took about two weeks to disappear.

I had blisters like those in your photo (when I was a young child) due to the adhesive on Elastoplast. I still cannot use Elastoplast plasters for that reason.

Look at anything new that is coming into contact with your DDs skin. Either in your own home or somewhere else. Have you changed to a different soap powder, have the ingredients changed in the soap powder or have you switched to a liquid. Have you bought new bedding recently or cleaned your carpets. Does she have some new clothes.

Hope you find out what is causing it.

Look up dyshidrotic eczema which is also a possibility. I get an outbreak of that when I go on holiday and the water changes. It's really itchy. Sometimes it goes on its own but sometimes I need hydrocortisone cream to get rid of it.

wavedancer68- we looked at everything the first time it happened and couldn't think of anything. We definitely haven't changed anything over the past few weeks for there to be 2 separate outbreaks.
