Ive had a lump under my right arm for years.I had it scanned and was told not to worry it was accessory breast tissue-that was years ago. I recently saw the practice nurse as the lump had got bigger and she read out my original letter. Apparrently i had been referred to the surgeons ! And that was 6 years ago. Obviously there was a breakdown in communication somewhere as the doctor thought id had the lump removed 6 years ago.
I am seeing the breast surgeoun on Tue next week.
I think if it was anything awful i would have known before now, but i am quite worried now.
It has got a lot worse over the last 2 weeks.
I permanently have a tingling sensation all down my arm into my fingers and it aches all the time.
Has anyone else had similar ?
Doea an appt. with the breast surgeon differ from my original appt to the breast clinic ? What should i expect ?
