My DD (19 months) has been having really wet, loose bowel movements for the past week that are now causing nappy rash. The stools tend to be an orangey brown colour, are very 'bitty' (hard to wipe off her skin because it is a funny texture) and have a very unpleasant smell, more so than usual child stool (they often smell strangely 'sweet'). Today she has filled 3 nappies like this and it is obviously causing her some discomfort. The last nappy had a slight trace of mucous in it. She does eat a lot of fruit, especially apples, and has recently developed a taste for high fibre KrackerWheat - could this be contributing or is it just a tummy bug? Thanks in advance!
