Abdominal strain

For the past couple weeks I’ve been having a mild pain in my abdominal right side. The pain isn’t always there or in the same place. It doesn’t hurt to press on it anywhere and the pain isn’t enough for me to notice it unless I’m thinking about it.

I’ve had a lot of stress recently could this be the reason? I have no other symptoms at all. Made an appointment with gp ok Thursday just wondered if anyone has any experience

When you say abdominal, do you mean at the top (e.g just under your ribs) or lower down?

It’s nearer the top at the min but it has been lower down and round the side. I have been having problems with my si joint and piriformis im not sure it’s not referred pain from there

Not sure about referred pain I'm afraid but it could either be gallbladder related if upper right abdominal, or possibly digestive system (your ascending colon is on the right, for example). There are many many reasons it may be though, so seeing your GP is the vest way forward.
