Atorvastatin overdose

Hi. Looking for advice from anyone with experience of Atorvastatin.

My mum just noticed that yesterday she accidentally took a double dosage of her 80mg prescription. She thinks yesterday is the only time this has happened but can't be sure.

She seems basically fine - has a sinus headache, is wheezing/coughing slightly and has some shortness of breath but also has a bad cold which could explain those symptoms

Should she call 111 now, doctors tomorrow or is she likely to be absolutely fine and not worry?

I used atorva for over a year (on a different one now) mine was only 10mg but it said on the leaflet consult doctor incase of overdose. 80mg is a high dose. I'm sure she will be OK but I'd definitely recommend calling 111 now and seeing what they suggest.
Going forward could you get her one of those pill dispenser things with days of the week on (I know most stations have days on the blister packs but writing is tiny)
Hope your mum is OK op Flowers
