My DM needs to have a stent fitted in her ureter next week. Has anyone had this done and could tell me what to expect? She lives in a different country and I'm trying to make my mind up about whether to go there and help out a bit afterwards.
People get them for all sorts of reasons, including kidney stones. Hers is because of cancer.
I'd really welcome any experiences, partlcularly about what the immediate period after having it fitted was like.
