Looking for some advice or similar experiences. My husband is a keen runner and twice in the last 10 month's he has passed visible blood in his urine directly after running which cleared up within a few hours (oncr last summer and once this week) on both occasions he went to Dr straight away who took a sample and ordered blood tests which subsequently came back clear. They said he did not meet the criteria for a referral due to his age (35) and as there was no blood in the sample. They claimed it was likely to be exercise induced hematuria. The first tine it occured it was after a long run in very hot weather so he thought this explanation made sense the second was after a 35 minute jog so has concerned us a bit. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced something similar after exercise as we have never heard of this before! He has asked his GP to query this with an urologist but we are getting increasingly concerned!
